Mile sur mera tumhara… Woh Sur bane humara…

We were given to understand from reliable sources that a member of musical forums on facebook  “Goa India International Karaoke Group” and also at  “Here’s The Party Tonite” has been battling with cancer.

Having known this wonderful cheerful lady individual since the last one year, collaborating with musical friends, it came as a sudden shocker to realise that this gentle lady has been afflicted with cancer at a young age and a small voice awakened within us to reach out to offer financial help in whatever best possible way.

It is said many drops do make an ocean and with the same thought, we are sending out an appeal on social media, and if you can make a difference, do send in your contributions directly to the following account of the individual.  You may just keep “THE IT FAMILY” intimated of your kind gesture.

A good deed done to another can surely return with a great blessing dear sister and bro.

Take care.

Welcome to The IT Family – for charity through IT

Dear friends,

 itfor_charity_logo_by_C-LIBZ copy

Thanks to the new team, of Delbert Figueiredo, Amey Kumbhar n S Fernandes  the IT family has made a revival….with a new slogan  TheITfamily-For Charity

The revival was thanks to Mr. S Fernandes of C-LIBZ  receiving a tremendous response from online friends across the globe to his original musical endeavour “Ek diya hum jalayein”  released on social media a few months ago in collaboration with 3 online talented musical friends with great love for singing  Nidhi Agrawal (from Haryana), Safeer Ahmed (from Pakistan) and Aanand Potdar (from Hyderabad) providing the chorus and that triggered a crowdfunding to raise a maximum target of Rs.50,000/- for charity.  The sum received  via online donations was routed to Asha Sadan, an organisation working for the underprivileged sections of the society in Baina town of Vasco da Gama.

ekdiya

The ITFamily led by S Fernandes is also thankful to an online friend overseas, who does not wish to reveal his identity, has sent us a donation of Rs. 25,000/- to gift a desktop PC to a charity organisation where the same can be utilised for imparting good IT education and for creative utilisation and “The IT Family” will soon shortlist any organisation for the same.

If musical endeavours using Information Technology, can create wonders on the social network to support charity,  the example led by S Fernandes and his online friends is really worth a mention.

Let us all join this Valentine day to share our love for the underprivileged too with a donation to  “The IT Family” to continue the good work that has just received a revival through musical endeavours.

Please listen to   “Ek Diya Hum Jalayein…Kyun Na aap bhi ek Jalayein”  on Youtube and Soundcloud and at FB group “GoaIndiaInternationalKaraokeGroup”
